Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of the Aventide platform, operated by Second Spring Design Inc. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and outlines what constitutes acceptable and prohibited use of the Service.

1. General Principles

Aventide is built for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses thoughtfully. We expect all users to:

• Use the platform in good faith for legitimate business purposes

• Respect other users and third parties

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

• Not abuse platform resources or undermine the experience of other users

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to create, store, or distribute content that:

• Is illegal, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activity

• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code

• Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory

• Constitutes spam, phishing, or social engineering attempts

• Exploits or harms minors in any way

• Promotes violence or self-harm

• Violates the privacy or publicity rights of others

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the platform outside of normal use

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data belonging to other users

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the platform

• Circumvent usage limits, access controls, rate limits, or security measures

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without written authorization

• Use the platform to conduct competitive research against specific identified businesses

• Impersonate another person, business, or entity

• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

• Exploit AI features to generate content that violates applicable laws or these policies

• Use the platform to send unsolicited communications or spam through connected channels

4. AI-Specific Usage Guidelines

When using Aventide's AI features (strategy agents, recipe execution, messaging), you agree to:

• Not use AI outputs to deceive, defraud, or mislead others

• Not attempt to make the AI generate harmful, illegal, or unethical content

• Not rely on AI outputs as professional advice without independent verification

• Not use AI features to generate content that infringes on third-party rights

• Take responsibility for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before publishing or acting on it

5. Resource Usage

To ensure fair access for all users:

• Respect the credit allocation included in your subscription plan

• Do not attempt to game or exploit the credits system

• Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

• Report any billing or credit errors to support rather than exploiting them

6. Integration Usage

When connecting third-party services (Google, Stripe, Instagram, Mailchimp, and others):

• Only connect accounts you own or have authorization to use

• Comply with the terms of service of all connected third-party providers

• Do not use integrations to harvest or scrape data from third-party services beyond what is needed for your business operations

• Disconnect integrations promptly when they are no longer needed

7. Enforcement

7.1 Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to support@secondspring.design.

7.2 Our Response

We may respond to violations by:

• Issuing a warning and requesting corrective action

• Temporarily suspending your account while we investigate

• Permanently terminating your account for severe or repeated violations

• Removing or disabling access to content that violates this policy

• Reporting illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities

7.3 Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting support@secondspring.design within 30 days. We will review appeals promptly and communicate our decision.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
